FDC Rafiki's homepage!

Welcome to Rafiki's homepage! I (Tim Norman) would like to introduce you to my friend Rafiki. Rafiki is the mystical shaman mandrill (with the blue butt) from The Lion King, a 1994 animated movie release from Walt Disney Studios.

Now, sit back, and enjoy the ride!

Asante WHAT?

First, let's take a closer look at those mystical words Rafiki uses to pursuade Simba of his importance in the circle of life: Asante sana, squash banana! Wewe nugu, mimi apana!

What do these words really mean, you may ask? Well, there's a simple answer! They mean: Thank you very much, squash banana! You're a baboon, and I'm not!

I think we can all relate to the deep meaning of this important phrase.
