Boston, Massachusetts - April 22, 2010 - NormSoft, Inc. today announced Pocket Tunes Radio 5.5, an update to its popular Internet radio application for iPhone and iPod Touch.
Version 5.5 adds a catalog of over 16,000 podcasts in addition to over 23,000 Internet radio streams already listed. Many of the podcasts available include radio shows that customers can listen to any time without waiting for the show to air, and there are thousands of other podcasts on a wide variety of topics. Podcasts can be played before they are fully downloaded, so customers can listen to their podcasts sooner, and many podcasts can be played in the background while using other applications. Pocket Tunes Radio also allows subscribing to podcasts that aren't listed in the catalog by using the web browser built into the app, so virtually any audio podcast can be played.
"We designed the podcasting features of Pocket Tunes Radio 5.5 with ease of use in mind. Searching, browsing, subscribing, and listening to podcasts is all seamlessly integrated into the Pocket Tunes Radio app," said Tim Norman, Founder of NormSoft. "By combining podcasts with Internet radio, we open up more opportunities for customers to listen to the audio content they want to hear."
Pocket Tunes Radio 5.5 is available on Apple's AppStore today at a reduced price of $4.99 USD for a limited time. The regular price is $6.99 USD.
