LifeDrive Users Get Pocket Tunes

NormSoft Provides Audio Playback for palmOne’s LifeDrive Mobile Manager with Pocket Tunes

Millis, Massachusetts – May 24, 2005 – NormSoft, Inc. today announced the availability of its award winning audio player Pocket TunesTM on palmOne, Inc.’s newest device, the LifeDrive™ mobile manager. Together, Pocket Tunes and the LifeDrive mobile manager, featuring a 4GB hard drive (3.85GB user available), provide users with a first class portable MP3 player.

With LifeDrive’s built in 4GB hard drive, users can now browse a large collection of music by artist, album, or genre, through the use of Pocket Tunes. Management of user created playlists is fully supported, giving users a flexible way to program song playback.

Pocket Tunes integrates directly with RealNetworks’ Rhapsody client and Microsoft’s Windows Media player so that users can easily copy certain audio files from their media library directly to their LifeDrive. This integration also allows users to delete audio files on their LifeDrive.

The LifeDrive version of Pocket Tunes also comes with a new Pocket Tunes skin designed for easy use. It provides a clear display of song name, artist, album, and song durations along with a display of the current queue of songs selected for playback. This new skin takes full advantage of the LifeDrive’s large 320x480 high-resolution color screen, and supports both portrait and landscape modes.

On the technology front, the in ROM version of Pocket Tunes provides third party software vendors guaranteed access to the Pocket Tunes Automation API on all LifeDrive devices. The Pocket Tunes Automation API is used by many software vendors to add audio capabilities to their applications.
