Cannot log into XM after upgrading to iOS4

- This article Applies to the Apple iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch only -

If you have updated to the new iOS4 and are no longer able to log into XM, please do the following steps:

  1. Before playing a station, go to the Search tab of Pocket Tunes Radio
  2. Enter "pt://delcookies" (without the quotes)
  3. Press "Search" in the lower right corner
  4. Exit Pocket Tunes (IMPORTANT)
  5. Now return to Pocket Tunes

Once you have returned to Pocket Tunes, go to the XM group and select a station. You should then be asked to log in. Once you complete your log in, the channel you selected will be loaded and play.

If it still fails, can you go to mobile.musicdock.com on your computer and see if you can play XM from there? If you cannot, go to XM's web site and try playing channels through the XM media player, on your computer. If you cannot play the channels there, then you need to contact XM as your account status may have changed and is preventing access to XM on-line Internet radio.

If you are able to play XM channels on your computer, but the issue persists, please contact support and let us know if you were able to play XM channels in Music Dock and the XM media player.
