| Apple has approved version 5.5.5 so please update to that version as it contains a fix for the refresh loop issue. |
If you are still having problems after updating Pocket Tunes, please contact us in support and try the following:
Note that with iOS4, in some cases when a subscriptions station has been paused in the background, it can take a few cycles of the web page for Pocket Tunes to reconnect so you may have to wait a few seconds for it to do that.
The first thing to do is to select another, non-Sirius station. Any station will do, for example one of the stations from the Featured Group. Then once it loads, load a Sirius station. It may ask you for your login but it should not be in the refresh loop any more.
If it does, try tapping the "Home" button on the bottom right of the "Web" tab of Pocket Tunes. You might have to tap it a few times but what you are trying to do there is interrupt the refresh message that is getting sent.
If that fails, try the following:
If you can view this page on your device, then tap this link from Safari (not from the Pocket Tunes web browser):
pt://delcookies
Otherwise, delete the cookies using these steps:
1) Before playing a station, go to the Search tab of Pocket Tunes Radio
2) Enter "pt://delcookies" (without the quotes)
3) Press "Search" in the lower right corner
Now exit Pocket Tunes and return. Then, as quickly as possible, select a station from the "Featured" group. Any station will do, you are just having Pocket Tunes load a non-Sirius/XM station.
If you still get the refresh happening, try tapping the home button again a few times. You might also try rebooting the device. Turn it off by holding down the power button until you see the "Slide to power off" command. Slide it to power off, then turn it back on again.
Some customers have also found that doing a warm reset will fix things. press the power button and the home button until the "Slide to power off" slider appears. Slide it to turn off the device, then turn it back on.
If the issue persists, please contact support.
