INTRODUCTION
When you open Pocket Tunes 5.5.0, you will see a new entry there, "Podcasts".

Tap "Podcasts" to see the main podcast screen:

"My Subscriptions "will show all the podcasts that you have subscribed to.

"Browse Podcasts" will show the podcasts based on their primary Genre as given by the Podcast itself.

When you tap on a genre, Pocket Tunes will either show the most popular podcasts for that genre, followed by more podcast in that genre, or it will show a list of subgenres that you can select from and within those are the top podcasts followed by more podcasts in the sub-genre.
"Most Popular Podcasts" is a list of the current top podcasts as determined by our customers. This is a great place to get started if you are new to podcasting.
"Recently Added" contains the most recent podcasts added by our staff and customers. If you prefer not to share the Podcasts and Radio stations that you add manually to Pocket Tunes, please see this Knowledge Base article.
"Search Podcasts" will search our podcast database based on your search term(s). You can also use the search tab at the bottom and Pocket Tunes will search both e Internet Radio catalog AND the Podcast catalog for search results based on whatever term(s) you enter.
Subscribing to a Podcast
When you subscribe to a podcast, Pocket Tunes adds it to "My Subscriptions". From then on, Pocket Tunes will check for new episodes in that podcast and when it finds a new one, add it to the list for that podcast.
To subscribe to a podcast, the easiest way to do so is from the "Podcast Episodes" page:

Method 1: Tap on "Subscribe to this podcast" and Pocket Tunes will subscribe you. It will then add the most recent podcast to the download queue.
Method 2: Tap one of the episodes of the podcast and Pocket Tunes will subscribe you to the podcast and load the selected podcast to "Now Playing" and start playing the podcast.
Method 3: Tap on Podcast Info, then tap on "subscribe in the upper right corner of the screen.

The Podcast Information screen provides information about the podcast as provided by the podcast creator.
Unsubscribing from a podcast
Once you have subscribed to a podcast, the episode listing will look slightly different:

To unsubscribe, simply tap "Unsubscribe from podcast" and Pocket Tunes will delete any downloaded episode of the podcast and remove it form your subscriptions list. It will no longer monitor the podcast for new episodes either.
