Make sure that you have followed the steps to connect to Sirius as per this Knowledge Base article.
Sirius changed their URLS and how they did things with their on-line media player a few weeks ago. So we had to make some adjustments which were completed the day after the change. All of it could be done without updating the actual applications so just update your catalog (see below) and you should be set.
IMPORTANT!! You will need to replace any Sirius stations you have as Favorites. Just delete them and then re-add them as you play the stations once you update your catalog.
To update the catalog:
If you can receive this email on your iPhone then the easiest way to run an update is to click on this link:
pt://update
Or you can do this:
- Go to your phone's Settings and go down to Pocket Tunes
- Slide the "force catalog update" to "On"
- Now open Pocket Tunes.
- It will then initiate an update. Allow it to complete the update.
That will update the catalog, changing the Sirius URLS to the new ones.
Now select a Sirius station from the Sirius group (NOT from Favorites until you replace what you had there from before). You should then be able to play the channels.
If Sirius still does not play, try the following:
- Go to the Search tab
- In the search window enter "pt://delcookies"
- Tap "Search" on the keyboard
- Exit Pocket Tunes
- Reopen Pocket Tunes and login as you normally would
If the issue persists, please confirm that you can play Sirius On-line radio on your computer. Go to http://www.sirius.com/ and click on "Media Player at the top of the page. Log in and play a few stations to confirm that your Sirius membership supports Sirius on-line radio. If it does not play there, then you need to contact Sirius.
Contact support if this does not resolve the problem.
