How do I play Live365.com stations in Pocket Tunes Radio?

- This article Applies to the Apple iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch only -

Please Note:

Live365.com has made a recent change that prevents Pocket Tunes Radio version 5.2.2 or earlier, from being able to play many Live365 channels. We have a fix coming that will allow you to play the stations once again, so please check back to this Knowledge Base article once the update has been approved by Apple.

The following method may work for some Live365 stations however most will need the new update.

You can play Live365.com stations fairly easily in Pocket Tunes radio. And, once you have played the station the first time, Pocket Tunes saves it to the Unfiled group where you can retrieve it and/or move it to another group etc.

NOTE ON VIP STATIONS: Beginning with version 5.2 of Pocket Tunes Radio you can play VIP stations, just follow the steps in this Knowledge Base article.

  1. go to the Web Application in Pocket Tunes
  2. Navigate to www.live365.com and sign into your Live365 account if you have one (you don't need one to play a station)
  3. Locate a station you want to listen to and tap on the name to go to the page for that station

    Choose station, tap on link
  4. Once the page loads you will see something like http://www.live365.com/stations/username in the address window of the browser, where "username" is identification for the station you chose.
  5. Tap on the address window and change the word "stations" to "play" in the address bar

  6. Press "Go"

  7. Pocket Tunes will then load and play the station
