Is the information I enter into Mecrets backed up?
- This article Applies to the Apple iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch only -
Your device has been stolen or damaged and now you have a new one, will all the information you entered in Mecrets be restored?
Yes! Any time you connect to iTunes, your device is backed up. This includes all Mecrets information. So anything that you have entered into Mecrets can be restored should something happen to our device. Just like any other application that you purchase from iTunes.
And don't worry, because of the encryption technology Mecrets uses, no one can access your information that is backed up so it is still safe.
Your Master Password is also restored so make sure you remember it or you will not be able to open Mecrets once it is restored. Restoring returns Mecrets to the exact state it was when you last connected to iTunes and it backed up your device.
