How do I set Windows Media Player up to Auto Sync a playlist to my device?

Note: To automatically synchronize a playlist, you must be using Windows Media Player 10 or 11, Windows XP and Pocket Tunes must be in MTP mode. (for information on ensuring Pocket Tunes is in MTP mode see this article, http://www.normsoft.com/kb/idx/0/153/article/ .

To set up the auto sync playlists:

1. Connect your device to the USB and open Pocket Tunes on your device
2. Select Windows Media Player as the media player you want to sync with
3. Create a playlist in Windows Media Player or you can use one you already have
4. Go to the Sync tab and click on Sync Settings (may also be called Setup Sync)
5. Check the box beside 'Sync device automatically'
6. Then check any playlists you wish to sync to your device
7. Click okay and the list(s) should begin to sync with your device
8. All the songs will be transferred and the playlist will be transferred as well.
9. Once the transfer is completed, go to Pocket Tunes, then the menu, select Actions/Manage Playlists and select your playlist, Pocket Tunes will then play the songs in the order you had them in the list. (unless you have shuffle activated in which case it will be a random order)
