How do I delete the songs that came with my Palm?

Palm has included two sample tracks, installed at the factory, with every device since the LifeDrive. They are not Pocket Tunes tracks and only the LifeDrive and TX allow deletion of these tracks.

On the TX and LifeDrive, these tracks are called 'Disko' and 'La mas bonita'. To delete those:

Install use FileZ (available for free from www.nosleep.net) to remove the track may you have to change a setting in FileZ first.

1) Go to the View/Edit Files.
2) The two files that you want to locate are "Disko.mp3" and "Lamasbonita.mp3". Tap on one of them and choose 'Details'
3) Tap the 'Attrs' tab and uncheck the "Copy Protect" checkbox
4) Press 'Delete'
5) Repeat for the other track.

On the 700p, 680, 755p and Centro, these tracks are installed in ROM by Palm and cannot be removed by any program. If you need more information, please contact Palm directly.
