Windows Media Player does not show songs transferred using a card reader, when I use Pocket Tunes.

Applies to:Pocket Tunes 3.x.x or 4.x.x
Basic, Trial, Bundle
Devices:All supported devices
Computer Operating System:Windows XP or Vista

If you are using a Card Reader to transfer tracks from Windows Media Player to the Card, Windows Media Player may not display the tracks once you insert the card into your Palm and connect to Windows Media Player via Pocket Tunes.

When you transfer sing a card reader and Windows Media Player, it puts the tracks in the /Music folder rather than the /Audio folder.

When you connect to Windows Media Player using Pocket Tunes, Windows Media Player looks in the /Audio folder only for you tracks. This means it will not display the other tracks in the /Music folder.

You have a couple of options. You can edit the car in the card reader as well, deleting or moving any files as needed. Pocket Tunes will see the Audio files no matter where they are on the card so it will see the tracks in the /Music folder and play them.

Or, using your card reader, you can move the files and folder that are in the /Music folder to the /Audio/Music folder. then when you connect using Pocket Tunes, Windows Media Player will see the files.
