How do I use Playlist Creator with Pocket Tunes 5?

The following applies to Pocket Tunes 5 only:

If you are using playlist Creator with Pocket Tunes 5 you will need to follow these steps:

  1. If you need to, you can get Playlist Creator 3 from here http://www.oddgravity.de/
  2. Once you install it, go to Settings
  3. Select Playlist Details and look at the drop down for "Saving playlist entries". Set it to "Absolute, without drive"
  4. Press "Apply" and "OK"
  5. Make sure your card is in the card reader
  6. Set the location for the Playlist to the ROOT (e.g. F:\) of the SD card
  7. Now open a Window on your PC for the SD card
  8. Drag and drop the songs you want in the playlist into Playlist Creator
  9. Once you have the list done, name it and save it to the card

You can also edit existing playlists as well:

  1. Ensure Playlist Creator is set as per the instructions above
  2. Make sure the card is in your card reader and select "Open" in playlist Creator 3.
  3. Navigate to where your playlists are in the card and select one
  4. Make sure you designate the save location if not already there. Set it to save to the Root of the card.
  5. Now save the playlist. NOTE: If you use the playlists in more than just your Palm, you might want to give the playlists a different name (e.g. put "PT" in front of the playlist name to designate it as a Pocket Tunes list). That way you can keep your old playlist for use on other devices and use the new open for Pocket Tunes.  But this is only necessary if your other devices have trouble with playlists created in the above manner.

If you have any trouble, please contact support.
