If Pocket Tunes needs to scan the storage locations of the audio files on your Palm, it will take longer if you are in the Manage Playlists screen than if you are in the Choose Songs screen.

You access the Manage Playlists screen via the 'Actions' menu and selecting 'Manage Playlists' or by entering the letter 'L' on either the keypad or the Graffiti area.

You access the Choose Songs screen via the 'Actions' menu by selecting 'Open' or by entering the letter 'O' on either the keypad or the Graffiti area.

Pocket Tunes scans the storage area(s) differently depending on where you are going. The scan of the memory areas is much faster when going to the Choose Songs screen.

If you want edit your playlist then you have to go to the Manage Playlists screen. However if you only want to load a playlist for playback then go to the Choose Songs screen. Make sure the drop down in the upper right is set to 'All'. You should see a list of folders, one being 'Playlists'. If you don't see that folder, click the folder with '..' beside it until you do. Then click 'Playlists' and you can choose one or more of your playlist to load into Pocket Tunes.
