Pocket Tunes displays a message saying "Unable to play audio file...." with this error code "(0x2A08)", what do I do?

If you see this error message with "(0x2A08)" at the end, this means that Pocket Tunes cannot find a file because it has been deleted or moved.

This specific error code indicates that Pocket Tunes is trying to play a track from a list and that track is no longer on your card or device.

If you loaded a playlist and received this message, simply go to the 'Manage Playlists' screen, click on the playlist the playlist and press edit, then press 'Save Playlist'. Pocket Tunes will remove any tracks in that list that are no longer on your device. Then select the playlist and press 'Ok' and it will play without the error message.

If you were playing a song or set of songs you picked from the 'Choose Songs' screen, Pocket Tunes always creates a list of the last song or songs you selected to play. Whether you chose 1 or 2 songs or a whole bunch.

If, for example, you load 3 songs, Song A, Song B and Song C to play in Pocket Tunes. A temporary list is automatically created with those three tracks. Even if you stop playing and don't return to Pocket Tunes for days, it will retain the list of those tracks so they are ready to play when you return. However, say you delete Song B. Then you go to Pocket Tunes and start it playing. It plays Song A, then because it still has the list of tracks you last loaded, it tries to play Song B. But since it was deleted, Pocket Tunes cannot find it and pops up that message.

To stop that message, simply choose a new song or songs from the 'Choose Songs' screen (in the Pocket Tunes menu, select 'Actions' then 'Open') .
