Pocket Tunes is not playing in stereo, how do I fix that?

Unless you have previously changed the balance slider in Pocket Tunes, it is unlikely that Pocket Tunes is the issue if the sound is playing from one side.

Here are the most common causes of having the sound only coming from one side of the headphone/heaset:

  • a broken jack on the device
  • a broken headset/headphone
  • a headset/headphone that is not compatible with the device ( the headset/headphone from another device might fit in the jack of your Palm device but if the headset/headphone is not compatible, the sound will only come out from one side).
  • a track or many tracks that were recorded in mono (it is rare)
  • the Balance slider in Pocket Tunes moved all the way to the right or all the way to the left. To check the balance slider setting, see this Knowledge Base article.
