Pocket Tunes is now available for Windows Mobile! You can downlaod a trial version from here. This version of Pocket Tunes is fully compatible with Windows Mobile 5 and 6. No other software is needed for it to function. See the Windows mobile User Guide for more information.

Installing Pocket Tunes on the Treo with StyleTap
When installing on the Treo in conjunction with StyleTap, please make sure that you have the Pocket Tunes ZIP file distribution (pTunes.zip), not the Windows Installer distribution (pTunes.exe). If you have the Windows Installer distribution, please visit www.pocket-tunes.com/download.html to download the ZIP file distribution
- Make sure that you have installed StyleTap on your Treo and that the StyleTap desktop application is installed on your PC (this is done automatically if you installed StyleTap to your device from your current PC).
- On your PC, perform the following actions:
Unzip the Pocket Tunes distribution into a folder on your hard drive.
Open the StyleTap application (Start -> All Programs -> StyleTap -> StyleTap).
Open a window to the folder containing the files unzipped from the Pocket Tunes distribution.
Drag the "PocketTunes.prc" and "SleekBlueLowRes.pdb" files from the Pocket Tunes distribution to the StyleTap window.
If you wish to play Ogg Vorbis files, drag the pluginspTunesOgg.prc file from the Pocket Tunes distribution to the StyleTap window.
If you wish to play WAV files, drag the pluginspTunesWav.prc file from the Pocket Tunes distribution to the StyleTap window.
In the StyleTap window, press the "Install all to device" button. StyleTap will install the Pocket Tunes application and any plugins you chose.
Follow the instructions below to transfer music to your device.
Copying Music Files to a Windows Mobile device
To copy music files to your device so that you can play them with Pocket Tunes, follow the steps below.
- Connect your Treo to your PC with its USB cable.
- On your PC, launch Windows Media Player
- Go to the Media Library and locate the tracks you wish to transfer, right click on them and select ‘Add to Sync List’ (or ‘Copy to CD or Device’ in Windows Media Player 9)
- Go to the Sync tab of Windows Media Player (‘Copy Music to CD or Device’ in WMP9) and set the drop down on the right side to the ‘Storage Card’, currently Pocket Tunes does not support playback of tracks transferred to the main memory of the Treo so only use the storage card
- Go to Sync tab (or ‘Copy to CD or Device’) and click Sync (or Copy Music in WMP9)
- Windows Media Player will display the percentage transferred of each track, once complete your tracks are ready to be played in Pocket Tunes.
Playing Music with Pocket Tunes on the device
- On your Treo, start StyleTap (Start -> Programs -> StyleTap).
- From the StyleTap launcher, tap the "pTunes" icon to start Pocket Tunes.
- Tap at the top of the Pocket Tunes screen to open the menu. From the "Actions" menu, select the "Open" menu item. The "Choose Songs" screen will open.
- Make sure that the popup in the top right corner of the "Choose Songs" screen is set to "All."
- If you click on "All Content," you will see a list of all the songs on your device. Alternatively, you can browse your installed music using the "Artist," "Album," or "Genre"
- Select any number of songs from the list and tap "OK" to begin playback. You may also tap "Select All" from the top level of the "Choose Songs" screen to begin playback of all your music, or you may tap "Select All" from an artist, album, or genre folder to begin playback of all music in that category.
