The quality of your Internet radio stations depends a tremendous amount on the speed that your data line supports. If you have a data line that supports only up to 32kbit/sec then you are likely going to get mostly mono stations of okay quality and some AAC+ stations that are decent stereo. If your data line handles up to 128kbit/sec, then you can likely listen to near CD quality sound, especially on the AAC+ stations.
How do you check your speed? There is a tool we use at this site, http://www.dslreports.com/mspeed . Run the test a few times and take the average. Whatever that average is, you should be able to run stations that are below that average. The closer the stations is to that average, the more likely you might get buffering. So if your tests come back with an average of 64kbit/sec, then you are likely going to get too much buffering on 64kbit/sec stations but 32kbit/sec stations will be fine. If it says 128kbit/sec then you likely can get very nice results from 96kbit/sec stations (especially AAC+ stations).
Note: AAC+ support is only available with Pocket Tunes 4 Deluxe and above.
