Can the Shoutcast (streaming audio) buffer be adjusted?

No, not at this time. With a 24kbps stream, the current buffer will hold 16 seconds.  If you're getting skipping, then it's likely due to bad reception, a slow server, or something other than the buffer.

See the FAQ for a complete list of possible problems.  Note that you may hear some skipping for the first 10-30 seconds while the buffer is being filled, but if you hear it for longer than that, then the stream is probably too slow to keep the buffer filled; see the FAQ's at http://www.pocket-tunes.com/pockettunes/docs/faq.html

In case you're interested, here's the math to calculate the amount of buffer:

Pocket Tunes uses a 48K (kilo-BYTE) buffer.  A 24kbps (kilo-BITS) stream uses 3KB (kilo-BYTES) per second.  (There are 8 bits to a byte.)  Therefore, the 48KB buffer will hold 16 seconds ( 16 = 48 / 3 ).
