Pocket Tunes resets after installing an update from Palm, what do I do?

Some recent updates from Palm for the Treo 680 and 700p have resulted in Pocket Tunes 4 being reset to the built in version (3.0.9). This can cause a reset of your device when you open Pocket Tunes after running the update.

To fix this, reinstall Pocket Tunes 4 onto your device. You can download it from http://www.pocket-tunes.com/download.html or direct to your device from our mobile site, http://www.pocket-tunes.com/mobile/index.html. Note: you must have an Internet connection to your Palm in order to install Pocket Tunes from our mobile site, direct to your Palm.

If the above suggestion does not fix things or you were not using Pocket Tunes 4, you can delete the 'Pocket Tunes Song Database' file. Download FileZ (available for free from www.nosleep.net) and install it onto your Palm. Open FileZ and tap the 'View and Edit Files' button. In the 'Internal' folder, locate the file 'Pocket Tunes Song Database'. Select it by tapping on it, then select Delete from the FileZ menu and delete the file. Then open Pocket Tunes again, it should no longer reset. Pocket Tunes will rebuild the song database the first time you open it but it will no longer reset.

If the issue persists please contact Pocket Tunes support.
