WARNING: This is only necessary if you have been advised by NormSoft support to remove the driver and reinstall it or this article was referenced by another Knowledge Base article.

To remove and reinstall the Pocket Tunes driver:

1) Go to "My Computer" and right click on it and select "Manage"
2) Then choose "Device Manager".
3) There are two possible locations for the Palm, "Windows Portable Device" or "Portable Devices" if the latter is present, go to it, otherwise go to "Windows Portable Device"
4) Press the plus sign to expand it, then right click on "Palm MTP Device" (it may be a different name but should either have Palm, palmOne or NormSoft in the name)
5) Select 'Uninstall'
6) Confirm that you want to uninstall the driver
7) Close the 'Device Manager' and 'Computer Management' windows
8) With your device still connected to the USB, exit Pocket Tunes then re-enter it
9) At this point, you should see the Found New Hardware wizard launch
