I have a Zire 71 that skips when playing files and/or I can't access my expansion card. What is wrong?

There is an update available for your device that should solve this issue. This update is a compilation of expansion related driver fixes for the Zire 71, including the Palm Zire 71 Expansion Update. If you are having problems accessing files or programs on your SD card, you will need to install this patch. Since this update replaces a system file, it cannot be removed using the "App/Delete" menu on the handheld. You can download the update from:
