Article applies to both the Palm and Windows Mobile operating systems
Due to licensing restrictions, WMA support is only included in the Deluxe version of Pocket Tunes. It is not included in the trial version for Palm or Windows Mobile devices.
However we do offer a 15 day money back guarantee after purchase so that you can try WMA playback without risk.
If you are using the Palm Pocket Tunes Basic version, you cannot play WMA files and they will not appear in the "Choose Songs" screen even if you install them on your card.
You can upgrade to Deluxe at http://www.pocket-tunes.com/purchase.html. Just click the Upgrade link and enter your current Basic registration code to qualify for the upgrade price. You may need to update your software to the current version and be sure to replace your current registration code with the new Deluxe code you receive in your order confirmation email by opening the "About Pocket Tunes" screen, highlight the old number and enter the new one.
Pocket Tunes basic users can alternatively use an audio converter your files to MP3, OGG or WAV formats. If you go that route, dBpowerAMP available at http://www.dbpoweramp.com is a good one. It's easy to use and free.
